JULY 2010

17TH ANNUAL CRUISE NIGHT WITH CHUBBY CHECKER!
Saturday, July 17, 2010 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Brand Blvd

Cruise night is fast approaching! This time Chubby Checker will get us all to do the twist ("like we did last summer"), and we'll see the Surfin Safaris, and the Icons. In honor of the 50th Anniversary of The Twist, Glendale officials announced that the City will attempt to set a Guinness Book of World Record having the most people doing the twist during a given time. The current record is 1,691 which was set in April 2004 - something we can easily beat! As always, Cruise Night will feature probably 100 cool cars from the 50's, 60's, and 70's and its FREE!

For more information, check out the City of Glendale's website at www.ci.glendale.ca.us/cruisenight2010.asp
