Library Connection Grand Opening July 26, 2008!

Hala Shonouda, Librarian and the Library Connection The Glendale Public Library's newest location--Library Connection at Adams Square-- will hold its GRAND OPENING on Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 1:30 to 5:00pm. Come celebrate with refreshments, music, children's activities, and free prizes for the whole family! Visitors to this new facility will find something for everyone with a popular browsing collection of books for all ages, newspapers, magazines, movies, and music - all in multiple languages. There will be plenty of variety of community events and programs geared towards children, teens, and adults, as well as homework help services for students. The Library Connection experience will also have laptops availalable for in-library use and Wi-Fi access. A library card will be all that is needed to order from the thousands of Glendale Public Library materials for conenient pick-up at Library Connection and to access a wealth of the library's free online resources.
